find the dev · drand time-lock

The dev is hidden among the holders. Find the wallet first and you become the dev.

A find the dev coin has no visible dev. The real wallet sits in the coin, encrypted to a round of drand, the public randomness network of the League of Entropy. When drand signs that round, 7 days later by default, anyone can open it and the contract checks the opening on chain. Until then the creator fees pile up in the coin, and anyone can guess.

  • The dev's wallet is encrypted to a drand round. Nobody can open it before, not even us
  • Guess the wallet. The earliest right guess becomes the dev
  • If the dev sells before the reveal, the pledge is gone

Launch with a hidden dev

A pickhooks v2 coin with the usual curve from about 5.95 BNB market cap. Launch from any wallet, then buy your bag from the hidden one and keep it until the reveal.

Hidden devs

1 coin

Every coin here trades like any pickhooks coin. Its dev is somewhere among the holders.

At the reveal

  • Found: the earliest right guess becomes the dev and gets every creator fee from then on. The fees of the hiding time go to the pad, the right guesses share half of the guess fees. The dev gets the pledge back if the bag is still there.
  • Not found, bag kept: the dev gets the fees of the hiding time, the pledge and the seat.
  • Not found, bag gone: fees and pledge go to the pad, the seat stays empty.
  • The wallet never opens: pledge and fees go to the pad, every guess gets its fee back.

Know the limits

  • The contract checks the bag when the wallet opens. A dev who sold and bought back before the reveal counts as kept.
  • Only the one sealed wallet is hidden. Anything else the dev does on chain is as public as always.
  • The bag must be at least 0.5% of the supply and sit in a normal wallet.
  • New contracts, tested on a BNB Chain fork and on mainnet with a throwaway coin, not audited by a third party yet.
