Dark launch · sealed bids, then the coin
Bid before the coin exists
Launches are won by snipers and bundles in the opening block. A dark launch has no opening block to win: everyone bids blind for a few minutes, drand opens every bid at once, and the coin is born at one price for all, with its pool already filled.
- Nothing to snipe: the coin does not exist until the round settles
- No gas war, no bundle: the price is one for all
- Under the minimum raise everyone gets their BNB back
01 · Before the coin
A round opens for a coin that does not exist yet
Name, image, rules and the share for sale (10 to 30 %). Bids run 2 to 60 minutes.
02 · Sealed
Bids show their BNB, never their price
Each top price is encrypted to a drand round that drand signs only when the bidding is over. Nobody can read a bid before, not the creator, not pickhooks.
03 · One price
Everyone buys at the same price
Once drand signed, the bids open on chain. The round clears at the highest step where the bids want the whole share; above it buys in full, at it shares the rest.
04 · Born
The coin is born with BNB on both sides
In the same transaction: the BNB of the round goes into the coin's pair at that price, the curve starts above it. Every terminal trades it from its birth block.

The numbers
- Ladder
- 24 steps, each about 15 % above the last, from the sticky start price
- Bids
- 0.005 BNB or more, 2 to 60 minutes
- Opening
- anyone may open a bid once drand signed; a bid that does not open in 60 minutes goes to the coin's liquidity
- Pledge
- 0.01 BNB from the creator, into the pair at the birth
Know the risk
- A bid commits all its BNB at the one price if the round clears at or under your step. Bid what you would spend.
- The seal is made in your browser. A bid that was not sealed by this page may never open, and then its BNB goes to the coin's liquidity.
- Once born, the coin trades like any coin and can fall below the round's price.
- A new contract, tested on a BNB Chain fork with drand's real rounds, not audited by a third party yet.
